bullet Unless stated otherwise, most Canopy Fasteners are Nickel Plated Brass.
 
bullet Where used, the preferred grade of Stainless Steel is usually 316 Marine Grade (A4). However, some items are only available in 304 Stainless Steel (A2).
 
bullet Microscopic ferrous pieces can "impinge" on stainless steel fastenings and fixings causing a rust coloured stain.
 
bullet The stain can usually be cleaned off easily and the strength of the fixing or fastener is undiminished.
